The Korean Housing Pension Calculator is a free web tool that estimates the monthly payment of Korea's Housing Pension — a government-guaranteed reverse mortgage that lets you keep living in your home while receiving a monthly payment for life. Enter the younger spouse's age and the home's value.
Calculations reproduce the official monthly payment example table published by the Korea Housing Finance Corporation (as of March 1, 2026, lifetime fixed-payment type). As in the actual program, the tables differ by housing type: general homes, senior welfare housing, and residential officetels.
The Housing Pension's conditions and amounts are complicated, which makes it hard to get a feel for it before a consultation. This site exists so you can check the eligibility conditions yourself and see a rough amount first.
Actual payments follow the Corporation's valuation of your home at enrollment and its own calculation. For exact amounts, use the Corporation's pension estimator or call its customer center (1688-8114).
